Acer Aspire 7540 3GB Ram 320GB (faulty) in Bradley Stoke, Gloucestershire for sale

I am selling this laptop that has served us well the last three years. Recently upon turning it on I could hear it start up but there was no display. I don't know much about computers so decided to just sell this one. I format the hard drive but it will be put back in the machine once sold. It is an Acer Aspire 7540 with the following specs: - amd Athlon II x 2 processor - 3 Gb memory m300 (2.0 GHz, 1MB L2 Cache) - 320Gb HDD - ATI Radeon HD 4200 graphics - DVD Super Multi DL drive up to 1408 MB Hyper Memory - 17.3" Hd + LED Lcd This machine has a few other small cons, it's missing a key from the keyboard, the mouse pad is discoloured from use, there are some light marks on the cover and the battery doesn't hold a charge. Before the display stopped working this pic worked fine fore streaming and had windows 8.1 pro It may be worth something for parts or to someone with a bit of IT savvy who can fix it. Asking price only since the harddrive alone is worth £25.
